Spent a few hours talking with my friend Masoud. He is the owner of a nice little eatery called Kerb. It’s hidden in downtown Towson across from the public library. Masoud personifies and inspires the American Dream. His family emigrated from Iran to escape religious and political oppression. After waiting for several years in Turkey as refugees, Masoud’s family were finally able to emigrate to the US. He now owns his own successful business and works about 80 hours a week to support his wife and daughter (with one more on the way). He is also a proud homeowner in the Loch Raven Village community. Thoughtful and appreciative, he is one of the many recent hard working immigrants fueling Towson’s economic renaissance.
And the man loves B’s Blends. During our visit, I convinced him to cook up a batch of his chicken wings and season them with Brian’s No.1. The dude loved the local spice! And is putting it into his wings recipe to see how it goes with his customers. So, when your looking for lunch at a unique local eatery, drop by and talk with Masoud at Kerb. And tell him, “I want the chicken wings seasoned with Brian’s No.1.”
